We're chuffed to bits to let you all know that after what feels like forever we are now once again taking booking for mountain bike hire, where you can enjoy Cannock Chase the way it's meant to be enjoyed... on 2 wheels!
Cannock Chase has mountain bike trails suitable for the beginner through to the experienced. We choose our Hire Bikes to make sure they are suitable for the terrain so you get an exhilarating adventure day out.
Location
Hire a bike from us and you can ride straight out onto Cannock Chase from our front door. Our Milford store is situated on the edge of Cannock Chase, near Brocton. You can drop straight on to the Heritage Trail (Family / Beginner Level Suited) and off into the Cannock Chase where you can enjoy the Red Route trails such as 'Follow the Dog', 'Monkey Trail’ or the 'Blue' route mountain bike trails (these trails are a 30 minute ride from the store). Should you wish to ride the trails our team in-store will happily guide you to a suitable start point. Please note: the 'Monkey Trail' is the more technically demanding trail on Cannock Chase, containing more 'Black Route' sections.
The store also offers free parking, refreshments, spares, clothing and everything for a cyclist.

Bike Details
We choose only high quality bikes suitable to be ridden over all areas of *Cannock Chase. Whyte Hardtail 802 / 801 (650b) bikes which come with Rock Shox air front suspension, trail suited frame design and high quality Shimano Components. The bikes are the highest quality “standard" hire bikes offered in the area. We offer a full size range from X Small through to X Large to suit all riders. Helmets (ours or your own must be worn) are provided free of charge as are trail maps if required.
Whilst on hire the bike is the responsibility of the person who signed the hire agreement. In the event of damage being caused to our equipment i.e brake lever snapped, broken chain etc a charge will be made to you at our discretion.
Please note: Our hire bikes are not suitable or permitted to be ridden on Stile Cop downhill trails.

Preparation
On the day of hire please ensure you arrive around 15 minutes before your hire period. Your Passport AND another form of identification such as a driving license or utility bill are also required for security purposes. Please note these will be kept until the return of the bike. We cannot let any bike leave without receiving these proofs of identification.
Ensure you wear suitable clothing and footwear for the conditions & supply your own drinking bottle. All bikes will be supplied with a bottle cage only. If you are using your own helmet then you will need to have this with you ready for set up. If not then a helmet will be provided. Helmets must be worn at all times whilst riding the bikes. A member of the team will set you up on the correct size bike. Adjust the saddle for you and ensure you understand the gears / brakes etc.
All you’ll need to do then is enjoy the ride on our outstanding area of natural beauty!

Day Sessions are from 10am - 4pm
Please note: If you arrive late or return the bike early you are still permitted to pay the full hire amount.

Terms & Conditions
All bikes MUST be returned by the allocated end of session time. Failure to do so will incur charges.
