Test yourself on the undulating terrain of Cannock Chase & the surrounding area's & help a new generation of future pro's.
This event, isn't really an event as such. It's simply a fantastic opportunity to test yourself on a pre-planned route of around 40 miles on the best mixed terrain than Cannock Chase & the surrounding areas of South Staffordshire & Shropshire have to offer.
This event will be raising funds for the new 2022 Run & Ride Development Program (RR23). Supporting up and coming riders & runners in becoming future professionals. All funds from this event will directly benefit these athletes through providing equipment, coaching & support throughout the upcoming season.
Roads, fire-roads and canal towpaths. The route is a a single loop that, at it's furthest, will take you approx 20 miles from the Milford start point.

Only 1 entry per person permitted.
We plan a route on Strava taking in some of the local lanes / roads / hills. Expect a mix of on & off road.
You download the GXP file onto your Garmin so you know where you're going. The file will be supplied via email before the event.
You pick the start time based on what avg speed you expect to ride at.
You complete the ride and have fun doing so.
There's no need to sign-on on the day, just get going when you're ready.
Our Milford store is the official end point. There you can expect a warm welcome that includes coffee & cake should you want it.
Participation is £4. It's open to anybody and everybody but please be mindful that you are out at your own risk. Run & Ride take no responsibility for you and your bike when you are riding the route.
When entering our store please make sure you sanitise your hands & wear a face mask, so please don't forget to put one in your pocket. Hand sanitiser will be available at the front door.
Breakdown support is available, but only under essential circumstances.
Staggered Starts Times:
9.00 - 9.30am - I'm just aiming to get round
9.30 - 10.00am - I'll push on but I'm not fast.
10.00 - 10.30am - Show me the Strava Segments!
Please make sure you book your place so we can plan for the post ride catering. It'd be rubbish if you couldn't get any refreshments afterwards because we weren't expecting you.
