Location: Run & Ride, 16 The Green, Milford, Stafford, ST17 0UR
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + bonus + staff discounts.
Hours: Monday – Saturday (5 days per week), working every other Saturday.
Holiday: 28 Days paid holiday, including bank holidays
Are you passionate about cycling, running, and all things fitness? Do you have the leadership skills to run a successful retail store and inspire a team? We’re looking for an experienced and energetic Store Manager to lead our Cycle & Running store near Stafford.
About the Role
As Store Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the day-to-day operation of the store. You’ll manage and motivate your team, ensure excellent customer experiences, and keep the store performing at its best. Whether it’s advising on the latest running shoes, helping a customer choose their first bike, or managing stock levels, no two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train and inspire a team to deliver outstanding customer service.
Oversee daily store operations including sales, stock management, and merchandising.
Provide expert advice on cycling, running gear, footwear, and accessories.
Monitor and drive store performance against targets and KPIs.
Build strong customer relationships, offering support to both new and seasoned athletes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
About You
Previous experience in retail management (sports, outdoor, or lifestyle retail preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach
Commercially driven, with the ability to hit sales and performance targets
A genuine passion for cycling and running, with strong product knowledge
Organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
