We have some huge news to share with our cycling community. After months of planning, we are thrilled to announce that Run & Ride is now an official partner of Orbea.
If you aren't familiar with Orbea, they aren't just another bike brand. Born in the rugged Basque Country of Spain in 1840, they began as a firearms manufacturer before pivoting to bicycles in 1930. Today, they are a worker-owned cooperative where every person on the factory floor is also an owner. That passion and "skin in the game" translates directly into the quality of the bikes we now have on our showroom floor.
Whether you're looking to crush a local hill climb, disappear into the woods for a weekend, or tackle a technical descent, Orbea has a machine built specifically for the task. Here is a look at the lineup now available in-store:
1. Road: The Orbea Orca
The Orca is a pure climber’s dream. In an era where many brands are making bikes heavier to chase aerodynamics, the Orca remains unapologetically light and agile. It’s designed for the rider who loves the "snap" of a bike when you stand up out of the saddle.
Best for: Competitive road racing, sportive riding, and anyone who lives for the mountain passes.
2. Gravel: The Orbea Terra
Gravel riding is about freedom, and the Terra is the ultimate multi-tool. It features a clever "LOCKR" storage compartment in the downtube (perfect for tools or snacks) and geometry that balances speed on the pavement with confidence on the loose stuff.
Best for: Bikepacking adventures, winter training, or high-speed gravel racing.
3. Mountain: Oiz & Wild
We are bringing in the heavy hitters for the dirt. The Oiz is a World Cup-proven cross-country machine—fast, light, and incredibly efficient. If you prefer gravity and high-voltage fun, the Wild (Orbea’s flagship e-MTB) has recently swept the industry awards for its handling and power.
Best for: The Oiz for XC speed; the Wild for aggressive enduro laps and conquering the steepest climbs.

Why Choose Orbea? (The "MyO" Advantage)
One of the coolest things about Orbea is their MyO (My Orbea) program. On many models, you can actually customize your frame colors, decals, and component specs at no extra cost.
Since we are now an authorized dealer, we can help you navigate the MyO portal to design a bike that is truly one-of-a-kind, and have it delivered right here to the shop for professional assembly.
Come see them in person.
Pictures on a screen don't do the Basque paint finishes justice. Our stock of these wonderful bikes is growing all the time, check them out online or pop in-store for a closer look.
The Orbea range is available in-store at Run and Ride & online here.
